Wildlife Photographs

The photographs in the slideshow are examples of ones I have taken in the past few years. Close-ups and wide-angle shots were taken with a Canon 10D using either a Canon 35mm to 135mm f/3.5 – 5.6 IS lens or a 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, the latter usually on a tripod. Bird photos were taken using a Canon 1D Mark II camera with a 300mm f/2.8 IS lens and a 1.4x teleconverter, hand held. Images are processed using Photoshop.

I have placed many photographs on a commercial web site: www.canstockphoto.com/birchside. You can view all the photos and purchase them if you wish. Along with the photos are about 1,000 drawings, paintings, and computer art as referenced in the Wildlife Illustration page on this web site. Note in the upper right of the Can Stock Photo - Birchside page you will see a box labeled "series" and by scrolling down you will see that the images (photos and drawings) are organized by groups making sorting through the images easier.
